80 Plus is a short film, shot in Uganda in 2015 and premiered in 2018. It was the first of its kind to receive a Cinema premiere during the Matatu Film Stage – Film Possible’s first run.
After that, 80 Plus went on a world tour, starting with Luxor International Film Festival in Egypt, EduDoc 2018: stories of Education, CINECHICO in Spain, Cachinus De Cinema International Youth Film Festival, Congo International Film Festival, DYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival, Lift-Off Filmmaker’s sessions, SSFC, Meet Film Festival (Finalist), Cefalu Film Festival, First-time filmmakers session, Children’s Rights Festival, WOW Film Festival – Tunisia, Cape Town International Film Market & Festival, International Moving Film Festival (Finalist, Sinevizyon, Festival de Cinema de Alter do Chao, The Mandavera Expojour JazzTimes Film Festival, Afrika Film Festival, Euro-East African International Film Festival and Hak-is Short Film Competition where it won third place.
80 Plus has also shown in voluntary workspaces like the Rotary International District Governor’s official visit to the Rotary Club of Mukono in 2023 because the year’s theme was “uplifting the Boy child”.
